Frequently asked
How do I book a class? +
All classes are by appointment. Call, email, or use the contact form and we’ll schedule a date that works and confirm exactly what to bring.
Do I need my own firearm? +
For most live-fire courses you’ll bring your own firearm, ammunition, and magazines. We’ll confirm the specific requirements for your course when you book — if you’re not sure what you need, just ask.
What should I bring? +
A valid government-issued photo ID, eye and ear protection, and closed-toe shoes. Bring weather-appropriate clothing, water, and any firearm, ammunition, magazines, or holster required for your course.
Where are classes held? +
At regional ranges in the Plumas Lake and Beale AFB area. Some courses are held at the Beale AFB Rod & Gun Club, which is on a secure military installation and requires base-access screening — we’ll walk you through the requirements when you book.
What is your cancellation policy? +
One free reschedule may be available. Late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to meet course requirements may result in fees or loss of your seat per our policy.
Are beginners welcome? +
Absolutely. Our Beginner Handgun and Beginner Combat Response courses assume no experience and start with the fundamentals of safe handling before any live fire.
